Dr. Curtis Windham

Dr. Windham is a passionate leader and lifelong learner, Dr. Windham brings a dynamic blend of experience, vision, and heart to the world of education. With over a decade of educational leadership under his belt, he has successfully guided two charter schools through significant transitions and conducted in-depth research on what makes charter school leadership truly effective.

Dr. Windham’s impact extends beyond K–12 education. For years, he has shaped minds as a lead and adjunct professor at Bethel University, teaching in both the Strategic Leadership and MBA programs. His professional journey also includes more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership across several Midwestern states, demonstrating a deep commitment to community and service.

Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Windham is a proud husband to his wife Dawn. Together, they cherish their vibrant family of seven children and four grandchildren. Outside of work, Dr. Windham lives life to the fullest—he’s an avid musician, enthusiastic runner, hack golfer, and dedicated traveler who loves making memories with family and friends.
