As an experienced kindergarten educator, Anessa is deeply committed to public education. With over 20 years of experience in various roles—including kindergarten, intervention, and special education—she has also served as an interim board member at a charter school.
Anessa is particularly passionate about equitable education, innovative learning experiences, teacher leadership, and fostering a love of learning. She believes her perspective would be a valuable asset to the board. She is eager to collaborate with fellow board members, school administrators, educators, and families to ensure that all students have access to high-quality educational opportunities.
With her extensive background, Anessa understands the importance of transparent governance, sound policy-making, and maintaining public trust. She is grateful to have been part of this significant moment in MVS history as a member of the first-ever elected board.
