Kate has been an active and dedicated member of the Marine community since 1995. Over the past several years, she has been deeply involved in initiatives that have positively impacted Marine Village School, driven by her commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment for all students and staff.
Kate brings a unique blend of experience to the board. She is a U.S. Air Force Reserves veteran and has worked as a registered nurse for 20 years—17 of those in high-risk obstetrics at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Her background in both healthcare and service has shaped her thoughtful, community-oriented approach to leadership.
Kate and her husband, Jeremy, were married in 2008 and live in a multi-generational home in Marine. Their three children have all been part of the local public school system, with their middle child graduating from MVS in 2024 and their youngest still attending Marine Village School.
As a parent, professional, and passionate advocate for education, Kate is excited to support the continued growth and success of MVS. She believes in the power of community, and is honored to contribute her experience, energy, and insight to the school board.
