Schedule: Monday to Friday (Day Shift)

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education or related field.
- Must have a valid Minnesota teaching license or the ability to obtain a license in the assignment area and grade level prior to the start of the school year.
Essential Functions:
- Incorporate hands-on learning activities into daily instruction.
- Communicate closely and encourage parental involvement regarding program goals, classroom activities, homework, school functions and student progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers, or administrators regarding their teaching.
- Participate in regular planning and staff development.
- Participate in professional development deemed important to the school and/or to individual teachers.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking and sitting for long periods of time
- Extensive viewing of lighted computer monitor

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

License/Certification (Required): Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a school bus endorsement
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible School Bus Driver to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring the safety, punctuality, and well-being of students during their daily transportation to and from school and other school-related destinations. This role requires a calm, attentive, and safety-conscious individual who can maintain a positive and supportive environment for all passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus on a designated route each morning and afternoon
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- Maintain a safe, orderly environment on the bus at all times
- Ensure all children are picked up and dropped off at the correct locations
- Follow all traffic laws and school transportation policies
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with students, parents, and school staff
- Report any incidents, delays, or concerns to the appropriate authorities
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with School Bus (S) and Passenger (P) endorsements
- Clean driving record and background check
- Experience driving a bus or similar vehicle preferred
- Strong commitment to student safety and well-being
- Ability to remain calm and responsible in unexpected situations
- Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively in a group setting is essential
- Punctual, dependable, and professional

Paraprofessionals carry out a range of responsibilities, both individually and in small groups, with students.
