Job Title: Part-Time School Bus Driver

Location: In-Person
Job Type: Part-Time

Overview:

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated Bus Driver to join our team for the remainder of this school year, beginning October 21st. This position involves driving a school bus during morning and afternoon shifts on school days, with occasional field trips.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, punctual, and passionate about providing reliable transportation for students in a supportive and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Safely operate a school bus or van in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Ensure the safety and supervision of all passengers during boarding, travel, and exiting.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful atmosphere on the bus.
  • Educate students on bus safety procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs, including route records, passenger counts, and incident reports.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with dispatch, administration, school staff, and team members regarding routes or concerns.
  • Take vehicle in for maintenance needs, as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• • Valid Commercial Driver’s License, School Bus Driver License (Required)
  • Bus Driver Certification, preferred.
  • Previous experience driving a bus is preferred.
  • Experience working with children or in senior care settings is highly desirable.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus, not required.
  • Strong ability to manage group behavior in a calm and professional manner.

Schedule:

• • Split shift (morning and afternoon, occasional mid-day field trip)
  • No weekends
  • This position could also be combined with the custodian position to equal a full time schedule, if desired

Compensation & Benefits:

• • Hourly Rate: $25.00 – $30.00

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to join our elementary school team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• • General cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
  • Restocking supplies as needed
  • Ensuring a safe and sanitary school environment

Qualifications & Experience:

• • Dependable and punctual
  • Able to work independently
  • Prior custodial or cleaning experience, preferred but not required

Schedule:

• • Flexible: Hours can be negotiated and worked during the day and/or evening
  • 15–20 hours per week
  • This position could also be combined with the bus driver position to equal full time schedule, if desired and meet the bus driver qualifications
  • Start Date: ASAP

Compensation:

• • Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour
